The core job: the stump ground 6–12" below grade so you can sod, seed or plant right over it.
Grinding plus full extraction of the chips and root mass when you need clean, plantable soil.
Every chip raked, the hole leveled, the area blown clean — you should not be able to tell we were there.
Runner roots lifting your lawn, driveway or sidewalk ground out along their length.
Fence lines, tree rows and cleared lots — volume pricing when there is more than one stump.
Wind took the tree down. We take out what is left, fast.
Apartments, HOAs, municipalities, cemeteries and contractors — invoiced, insured, documented.
Not sure whether to grind, pull or leave it? Straight advice, no charge, no pressure.
No two stumps price the same, and anyone quoting you a flat number sight-unseen is guessing. Here is what we are actually looking at.
Measured at ground level, not chest height. A 12" stump and a 40" stump are two different machines’ worth of work.
A stump off the driveway is quick. One behind a locked 30" gate, up a slope or across a septic field takes longer to reach than to grind.
Mobilizing the machine is a fixed cost. Stumps two through ten cost far less each than the first one.
Raking them level is included. Hauling them out and backfilling with topsoil is extra material and a trailer load.
Runner roots that need chasing are priced by the linear foot on top of the stump itself.
Fences, sprinkler heads, invisible fence wire and pavers all mean slower, more careful cutting.
Whatever the quote says is what you pay. We do not re-price in your driveway.
Most customers go from photo to finished yard inside a week.
Text or email a picture of the stump with a shoe or a bucket next to it for scale, plus your address. That is usually everything we need.
A firm price comes back within 24–48 hours. Diameter, access and whether you want the chips hauled are what move the number.
Utilities get located before the teeth go in the ground. On grind day we protect the turf, cut the stump below grade and check the depth.
Grindings raked and leveled, hard surfaces blown off, debris hauled if you asked for it. You look it over before we load up.
Send a photo with something for scale. We will tell you whether it is a grind, a full removal or something you can leave alone — free either way.
