J&K Stump Grinding is a family-owned, locally-operated crew working out of Detroit. Stumps are the only thing we do — not tree removal, not landscaping, not a side service tacked onto a bigger company. One job, done properly, at a price that reflects specializing in it.

It is also why cleanup is not something you have to ask for. The yard gets left flat, raked and blown off, because a half-finished job is not worth doing.

We work for homeowners, property managers, HOAs and the tree crews who need a stump specialist behind them. The phone is answered 8 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week — and when a storm has half the block waiting on tree crews, emergency stump work moves to the front of the line.
